How much percent of your earnings go to child support?

There is a formula which our state has established. For one child it is 20% of the monthly net resources; for two 25%; for three 30%, and four is 35%. Those percentages will be slightly lower if the child support obligor has other minor children for which they are responsible for paying child support.
