Child support -- child quit school

my stepdaughter quit school at the end of school last year. she did not return this fall. do we have to continue to pay the child support since she isn't in school, the mother allowed her to quit with us trying to keep her in school.

Re: Child support -- child quit school

Most divorce decrees require child support until the child turns 18 or is otherwise emancipated. If the child is not 18 or working to support herself, you should obtain an order of the court before not paying child support.
