Child support

I recieve 64.21 dollars a week for support of four children. He grossed eighteen thousand this year. Am I getting enough?

Unless there are deductions allowed by lay, you are receiving much less than your should.

Assuming that he grossed exactly $18,000 and that there are no unusual circumstances, then you can calculate what he would pay for four children. This would be $436.93 per month. I figured this using the guidelines laid out in the Texas Family Code. A judge is likely to follow this but is not required to if there are special circumstances.

It is important that you have child support changed immediately. You CANNOT change support retroactively so every month that you do not challenge this results in money lost forever. You are potentially losing almost $4,500 per year.
