Child Support Review

My husband's ex-wife is having the support orders for all her children's fathers reviewed. The date has been set for the 29th of this month. I just received a notice saying that his payments have already almost doubled. We cannot afford almost a thousand dollars a month. Especially when you consider, for example, he only netted in fifteen hundred last month. I am writing this because he works offshore, and will not be in until the day before the date is set. I am terrified that when we go in, they will up it again - HELP!

It's impossible to help you on the internet. If you really want help, hire a lawyer. Child Support is based upon a formula. $1,000 CS on a net of $1,500 is unexplainable on the information you provide.
