If you want to sign your rights over to your child, do you still have to pay child support?

Based on what you have written, generally doing away with your rights will not automatically relieve an individual of their obligation to financially support their child. That depends. You really need to talk with a good family law attorney. Signing over your rights is not that easy to do.
