child support
i signed the birth certificate for a child i thought was mine,but turns isn't. the mother was maried at the time and still is,her husband is the father but i signed the birth certificate. now they want to file child support on me for thier child what can i do!

You desperately need to hire an attorney and ask for DNA testing.
If you've done DNA testing, then you need to respond to the lawsuit with a copy of the DNA testing attached.
You need to get your name removed from the birth certificate.
I don't recommend that you try to do it on your own.
If the Texas Attorney General's office is involved, calling and writing them won't be enough. You must appear in court and get the documents signed by the Judge.
Run (don't walk) to a family law attorney in your area.

You will be stuck paying child support until you get an attorney to get you out of this mess.
