Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

child support

My son has lived with his grandparents since he was 2, he is now 15. I pay court ordered support to his mother who does live with him. what can i do? She also wants me to give up my parental right but i owe back support. What happens to it?

You definately need to talk to a lawyer face-to-face.

Most courts will not termiante your parental rights unless there is a new guy to step into your shoes.

The back support may not go away even if you terminate your parental rights.
