child support and ssi payments

can my child still recieve child support from his father if his father is now receiving disability?� The father is in the arrears and my child is eligble for ssi benefits from him. Can my child recieve both?

The fact he is now on disability does not effect his duty to pay the arrearage. Depending on how much the father's current child support obligation is, he may still owe more than the child payment from SSI. You should go talk to a good family law attorney. Many will work with you on payments.
