Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Child Support

It states in my divorce decree that child support is ''due and payable'' on the 15th of the month. What does ''due and payable'' mean? Its must be paid by the 15th or it is due to the other party on the 15th?

Thank you in advance!

Re: Child Support

You are kidding right?

You need to pay the support on or before the 15th.

It is also my advice to not nitpick the terms of the decree, but to follow the spirit of decree, so that the kids suffer less than that already have.
