Child Support and Visitation

My husband has been paying child support on his daughter the last 10 years. Over the last 3 years, he has only seen his daughter about 20 times (she refuses to come over). What can be done, he is following his part of the court order, but she wont followhers

Re: Child Support and Visitation

There must be some reason why she doesn't "want" to come over. Maybe there needs to be a reconnection therapy program. 13-year olds simply do not run this world unless you give them a chance. Your husband can file a motion to enforce and for contempt, but unless something more meaningful is done, it won't accomplish much except to crystallize bad feelings. Someetimes, if you say "I love you and I miss you and I want to be with you", it has a desirable effect - if she's listening. Good Luck.
