Child support
My wife turned her husband into the Attorney generals office about a year ago fo not paying.
Should it take that much time to do this???

The AG's office suffers from the same general issues as most government offices. They have too much work and too little funding. As such, it doesn't surprise me that it has taken this long for the AG to do anything concerning child support.
Alternatively, you could hire an attorney to pursue child support on behalf of your wife. The Texas Family Code does provide that your wife could recoup any attorney's fees she incurs from the child support obligor.
