Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Child Support
My 17 year old daughter moved out of my house and her father wants to go to court to reduce child support. Is a judge likely to allow this? She can move back home at any time.

Re: Child Support
Maybe, it depends, and there is not enough information to make a real assessment. Sometimes the support is reduced, sometimes it is redirected to the new primary caregiver of the child. Sometimes it continues unabated. You need to talk with a lawyer about the specific circumstances of your case.
