Child Support/Settlement

My ex recently came into a large amount of money due to a settlement from his employer. Does this money figure into child support payment, or effect it whats so ever?

There is too little information here to give anything but the most general answer. A settlement may effect his support. You need to talk with a family law attorney soon. Many, like myself, will talk with you at an initial consultation without charge.
