Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Child Support/Visitation Modification

My son is 10 years old. His father is an alcoholic who was arrested twice for driving while intoxicated 7 or 8 years ago. He pays $286/month and reimburses me $100 for insurance per the original order (approx. 7 years ago). His parents came into money and he now barely works. He gets $3000/mo from an annuity and an extra $1000 from them, plus part time work he does when he feels like it. They bought his house and car and he has no bills. His drinking is getting out of control and I have had to pick up my scared son once after he passed out and again once on his weekend because he admittedly wanted to get drunk. What are my chances at having the child support substantially raised and changing the visiation to supervised? He comments constantly that he is upset the the AG takes the child support out of his checks when he gets a job because that is his ''spending money.'' He does not buy clothes or provide other monetary support for anything, but has his parents do some of these things for him. They use any support to manipulate the situation and make decisions for my child without asking me first. The Code says that other income/assets will be taken into consideration. How much consideration is probable?
