can a child of devorced parents pick the grandparents to live with when they turn 12?

The legislature just met and made several changes in the TX Family Code.

I believe that very soon grandparents rights will even be more limited than they have been.

You can ask for custody but the burden is to prove that the parents are unfit. It is very hard burden to prove.

Of course, if you sue the parents for custody, you will never see the kid again. I'm sure you are aware that the situation will be unbearable if you don't win custody.
