Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
child visitation for babies
i had a baby with my ex- girlfriend. She is 7 months old. We are both in college and work full time. She is now trying to move back home and leave with the baby. We have temporary orders giving me possession follow standard orders of 3 year olds. I am wondering what is the likely hood of her getting to leave with my daughter. i am paying child support and involved in her life even during the pregnancy. I am in the process of going to court with her. she is trying to claim that she has not support system here and that all her family is not here.

Re: child visitation for babies
I presume that she has custody of the child and that you have some kind of visitation. Since she is the one with full-time responsibiltiy for the care of the child, she might get to move back home to be with her parents if that is in the best interest of the child. You would have to overcome that with evidence that what you have and what you are doing is in the best interest of the child. She wins all ties. Good Luck.
