Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Child Visitation

Would I be in violation of interferance with a child visiations agreement if I refuse to allow my child's father to send his girlfriend to pick up our child whenever she felt like it after 6:00? The order states that he is to pick him up at 6:00 on Friday and bring him back on 6:00 on Sunday.

Re: Child Visitation

If there is no provision in the order for any competent adult to pick up the child, you would probably be OK. If there is no provision in the order for a window of time to pick up the child, you should at least allow 30 minutes. But you will have to be prepared to prove that you allowed this time for the child to be picked up. Sounds like you're getting ready to go back to court to clarify the order and maybe a motion for enforcement filed by your X. Good Luck.
