Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

child visitation

My 14 yr old son doesnt want to visit his dad who is the non costodinal parent but we have joint custody. My son says his dad does drugs in front of him. i dont want to force my son to go. Do i legally have to? His dad has been in and out of jail all his life

I don't think there is any provision in the order for your son's choice. You should try to modify the visitation provisions rather that choose to wilfully violate the order. You are the one that will be held in contempt.
