Child-Parent Relationship

Is it possible to legally terminate a relationship between an adult child and one of their parents? I do not get along with one of my parents and they are constantly harassing me on the phone and have even threatened to contact my boss if I am not courteous to them on the phone. I do not wish to continue my relationship with this parent.
