Child's last name

My boyfriend and I are planning to get married,is there anyway that my son's last name who's is the same as mine could be changed to my soon to be husband's when the marriage is final?

I assume that your boyfriend is NOT the father of the child.

You would have to get permission from the father of the child to allow the child's name to be changed.
