Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My child's father and my ex-husband is 2 months behind on child support. He tells us that his plan is to join the military in the next few months, but he is consistently without an employer. My question is, if he does go into the military, are my daughter and I able to move out of this county/contingent counties? If he does not join the military and continues to not pay his child support as ordered by the state, am I able to request permission to move out of county?

You need to read your decree. USUALLY, if Dad moves far away, the geographic restrictions in the decree are lifted (by the terms of the decree itself).

Child support, and the payment thereof, won't have anything to do with moving out of the county.
