Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My child's father and I were never married and we went different ways when I found out I was pregnant. He has been in North Carolina since April 2010. Next month it will have been 2 years since I have seen him, and 6 months since I've talked to him. In December we had a court date for child support that he didn't show up to. He's never met his daughter and has never made any kind of attempt at supporting her. Now, since we have a child support order in effect, he is threatening to take me to court for custody and visitation. Is there any way a judge will give him regular visitation in North Carolina when he hasn't been around at all or supported her in anyway? Is there any hope of terminating his rights?

He's a loudmouth and a bully. No, no judge will give him custody.

You probably don't have grounds to terminate his rights.
