Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Child's home state is Texas. Filed for CSE services with Texas AG, and father's home state is in the very slow process of trying to establish an order for child support.

A Texas court already ordered custody and visitation. I was told by an attorney in the father's home state (FL) that he has seen situations where FL has modified another state's custody order. He did not elaborate on what circumstances this would happen.

If the father's home state starts to mess with the custody order, then what do I need to do? As I understood the law, the father would have to come to Texas to modify the custody/visitation order.

If Texas is the child's home state (for at least six months), don't worry about Florida changing custody. The fight, if any, will be here in Texas. This is covered by the UCCJEA (chapter 152 of the Family Code).
