collecting money owed by ex husband

I have been divorced since Nov 2005.Divorce papers state that my ex husband has to pay half of credit card debt.I have not recieved any money at all.My lawyer I had before moved.I can't afford another one.Is this something I could do by myself?Also I was told there is a statue of limitations on this debt.How long do I have to collect this money?.

If you know how to file the motion, get a hearing, prepare an order and say the right things in front of the judge, you can do it yourself. This information is available in the law books in your local law library. I venture to say that it would probably take you anywhere from 15-60 hours to put this together. This would save you the price of a lawyer.
