Texas Common Law Marriage "Informal Marriage"

It is a three point test (1) You must agree that you are married, as of right now without the benefit of a formal ceremony, not that you will be married at some later date; (2)you must live together as man and wife in Texas; and(3) you must hold yourself out as man and wife(tell others that you are man and wife, have joint checking, use one last name, etc., otherwise, jsut living together for any certain period will not casue an informal, or common law marriage.
