common law marriage

Are you considered common law if all you have is a notarized paper for insurance purposes from 1997 and your drivers license and social security card carries the married name but you havent lived with the other person for over 6 years?

Re: common law marriage

When you have lived apart for more than 6 months, you can no longer claim to be common law married.
