Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Community Property

We filed divorce ourselves and agreed real estate was to be sold and proceeds split. I moved out and after divorce we verbally agreed I would move back in and he would move out so that I could handle the sale of property. Now I cannot get him to move out. His address on the divorce papers is of the real estate and mine is of another. What legal rights do I have to have him removed.

Re: Community Property

It's hard to tell the chronology of events from your facts. If you have a final decree that says the property is to be sold and the proceeds split, and he refuses to do that, you can go back to the court to enforce the court order. You can also move back in. It's your house. But it's hard to "have him removed." It's his house, too.
