Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Is this community property in Texas

I married a woman who owned a house. It was not paid for. I helped pay payments and made improvements using separate moneys toataling over $20,000 to this house. She sold the house to her son who has not paid us for it. We bought another house because he was supposed to pay us. Recently she deeded the house over to him with out my signature. Now she has moved out and back in that house with her son and his family. If I file for divorce is that house community property? What other options do I have? Can I sue the son direct to recover my money?

Re: Is this community property in Texas

The first house is her seperate property subject

to your claim for a reimbursement to the community estate.

The second house is presumtively community property and thus you may have a good claim agianst your soon to be ex and her son.
