Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Can the company my "dead beat" ex-husband work for be sued for non compliance?

My ex-husband has been ordered by the court to pay child support. A legal document was sent to his employer for garnishment of wages. The employer signed the form, yet neither he (My ex....BUMB) NOR the employer are complying with the orders.

Can the employer be made to oblige the orders and can it be enforced. My kids are doing without because he's a bumb, and he's buddies with the payroll manager.

Re: Can the company my

When an employer is served with a withholding order or writ, but fails to comply with it, the employer becomes directly liable for the child support and can be sued to obtain it.

Re: Can the company my

You can sue the company directly and the employer also can be fined for each payment not withheld. I suggest calling an attorney.
