Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

How to get ex to comply with decree

In our decree it states that we each must carry a specified amount of life insurance naming the other as beneficiary, mainly to cover child expenses should one of us die. However she has named her brother instead of me. How can I get this changed? Do I need to file a motion and where can I get the form as I prefer to do this w/o representation. Once filed I know she'll make the change w/o having to go to court.

You need to file a motion to enforce. The forms should be available at any law library (look for the Texas Family Law Practice Manual or other similar book). I hope this helps.
