Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

To Whom It May Concern

My ex girlfriend says that she is pregnant with my child but will not give me proof. I have not seen her in months and have no contact with her friends or family. We no longer have any communication. I need to know what to do as far as getting temporary orders when the child is born. I do not want to loose time or have back child support ordered months or years from now if she is really pregnant. How can I order a paternity test or proof that she is even pregnant. I have very little financial means and am trying to avoid a high cost attorney.

You are going to have to hire an attorney.

There is no way around it.

You know approximately when she might give birth to this baby. So begin checking around, if she had a baby you will probably hear about it.

Don't waste your time going to the TX Attorney General's office. They will set up child support but they won't help you see your baby!

Look around, there are low cost attorneys around that will let you make payments. Start saving your money now.
