Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Can a condition for Child support reduction be placed in the Divorce Decree (which would allow automatic Employer reduction in child support without petitioning the court) when a child 15-18 years take up permanent residence with parent paying the support?

Like example condition: When child turns 18 years old or graduates from high school whichever is later, child support is reduced to "X" amount.

Proposed example : When child 15 - 18 years of age takes up permanent residence with Parent (the one paying the child support), child support is reduced to "X" amount.

I've never seen this done, but I don't know why a Judge wouldn't sign such an order.

The problem might be, when the event happens (child moves in with the other parent), getting the wage garnishment stopped.
