The Texas Family Code is available on-line.

The terms as you described them (custody and conservator) are not defined in the Texas Family Code the way you presented them.

Texas uses different terms. Such as -- there are joint managing conservators and sole managing conservators in Texas.

Custody falls under Conservatorship, Possession and Access. Begin by looking under Section 153 of the Texas Family Code.

You will need a certified copy of the Final Decree of Divorce to understand what the court ordered.

After reviewing the Family Code and your legal document, then you need to consult with an attorney about what your rights are as a parent.

Good luck!
