Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My ex is constantly harassaing me throught text message and over the phone. False domestic violence charges were placed against me and I have to appear in court to try and clear my name. I want to press charges for harassment but I do not want it to appear as if we are playing a game of "pressing charges". My life and reputation are constantly being threatened. What should I do?
