Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Contiguous County Clause

What is the verbage of the ''can not leave the contiguous counties clause'' and where is it inserted into the standard visitation agremeent?

My ex is soon to re-merry and move to the next county ovr, taking my son an additional 30 miles away. That move is fine with me, but I want to write in that she can not move beyond the contiguous counties, which she is in agreement with, but can not find where/how it is written anywhere.

Thanks,

H. Wayne

Re: Contiguous County Clause

Just writing such a clause into a previously existing order will not have any validity. For such a restriction to be enforceable the order will have to be modified. You should talk with a good family law attorney about doing an agreed modification to the current order.
