Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Corrected birth certificate

My son, James Kenneth Munson, was born James Kenneth Wilson, on September 23, 1962 in Temple, Texas, Bell County.

He was legally adopted in Harris County Family Courts in either 1971 or early 1972 just prior to the birth of my first daughter, by Kenneth Gene Munson, my husband, and his records were to have been changed with Kenneth's name as the father.

We now find the need to get a copy of my son's birth certificate and are not sure where to get it from. Harris County or do we go back to Bell County....we need to make sure we get the correct copy.

Your advice and assistance would be greatly appreciated.
