I cosigned with a friend on a house. I stayed there for a while then left and got married. they remqin single.Now that they are deceased do I own the home

Remember that there are TWO very important documents in a real estate financing transaction: the deed and the promissory note. You may have signed the PROMISSORY NOTE but not be on the DEED.

Fortunately, you can check on the deed by going down to the County Clerk's office.
