cost of adoption

I am trying to adopt my 2 nephews ages 5 and 10 both Hispanic fathers. Mother and fathers are deceased. Both children are in the Child Protective Services system and in a foster home What is the typicalcost of adoption and what financial assistance with legal fees and post adoption costs are available. I am a single female and have already obtained conservatorship of my 16 yar old neice. All 3 are my sisters children.

I usually charge $2,000 for an adoption. Court Costs and expenses are extra - usually $175 for court costs plus $600-$800 for a social study. I am not aware of any financial assistance. You might check with CPS or your local county bar association to see if an attorney would do this for you pro bono.
