Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

how can i get a court appointed attorney my sons father just got out of prison in april of this year an i hve been letn my son go over there an visit because i want him to be apart of my sons life i have never received any funds since my son was born an now him and his mother r threating me that they are going to take my son away because they know i cant afford an attorney and i cant lose my son he doesnt really know them i gave them a chance i told them they can see him when ever they want n they hardly call maybe like once a month and now they are threating to report my to cps im just so confuesd i dnt kno who eles to turn to please tell me where i can look...thank you for your time
