Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My Ex and I have to go to court for child support. He is a heavy marijuana smoker and displays very bad behavior while under the influence. Is there anyway I could get a court ordered drug test before we go to court so he doesn't have time to clean his system out.

You can always ask a Judge to order drug testing, but usually it's done in connection with a CUSTODY case. A judge would ask you: What does marijuana use have to do with how much child support this guy owes?
