Can i get a court date w/o filing an answer

my wife filed for divorce. i didn't get a lawyer. i went to court and agreed to pay child support and 3 months spousal maint. can i go to the court and ask for a court date now that the 60 day waiting period is over? do i need any documents to do this or go to the next step to finalize it? You can't just go to court and get a date. Or at least I can't. You have to file a motion to request a hearing and submit an order setting a hearing date, etc, etc, etc. I doubt that the court coordinator has a set of rules for attorneys and a set of rules for non-attorneys. Good Luck

You may contact the court and set a date for a final hearing. Many courts also have specific days and times set aside for uncontested hearings. Once you get a date, it is your responsibility to notify all parties of the date and time. Good luck.
