It appears that you might be in Harris County. Houston Volunteer Lawyers are backed up. You can call them at 713-22-0732. I used to work there years ago. They are swamped with requests but it never hurts to ask.

Look on this website & on www.avvo.com for an attorney. Most family law attorneys take payment plans.
