Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I see I have court, but have not been officially served with any papers.

Well, you need to make sure you weren't "served" by publication. Just because you don't have any papers doesn't mean the court does not consider you to have been served.

Assuming you have not been served in any way (personally, by publication, or by alternate service), you are not required to appear for the court hearing.

I agree with what Mr. Daley has stated above. Most counties have a website for the District Clerk's office where you should be able to discern whether the Court's file indicates service, of some variety, has occurred.
