Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I need to get a court order to retrieve payment records I made to a private school in Dallas Co., TX (they told me they wouldn't release them otherwise). How do I go about doing this?

Don't let them tell you they need a court order.

If there is a case pending in court (and those records are needed), you can send a process server with a subpoena, and he will get the records (your lawyer will know how to do this). It's covered in Rule 902(10) of the Texas Rules of Evidence.
