Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

my ex has not followed the court ordered custody agreement in ten years and i have been sending our child to his grandmas house for the visitations. he now has written a letter stating he is allowed to see her and is requesting every other weekend, 2 months for summer but he wants me to continue to take her to his grandmas. am i legally obligated to give visitations to his grandmother, her great grandmother, or his mother?

A parent can designate a responsible adult to pick up and receive the children for his or her visitation. You are not obliged to do anything unless the court tells you to. Grandparents have the right to ask the court for limited visitation. Until the court grants it to them, you are not obliged to provide it to them. However, subject to you and your ex's agreement on visitation, you and he must follow the court order.
