Can the primary custodial parent deny court ordered visitation if they believe the other parent to be mentally unstable or dangerous?

The answer is in your question. The visitation is *court ordered*. If you want it changed, the judge has to change it. You should have evidence that somebody is unstable. Your opinion is not necessarily conclusive.

If the other parent is so bad that you fear for your child you need to get an attorney and file a modification immediately.
