Is there a Website that will provide court transcripts that may be purchased by a layperson who has had a court case in the pastfive (5) years?

A transcription of the proceedings in a court can be purchased from the shorthand reporter who sits in court and takes notes on what is said. That is, if there was a shorthand reporter present in court and taking notes. The docket sheet and the decree or judgment (and the current shorthand reporter in that court or the court clerk) are the best places to look for the name and address and telephone number of that shorthand reporter. They normally keep their notes for a couple of years, but might throw them away after that.
