Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My cousin pays child support for 3 children from 2 different moms. Leaves him broke! He got a second job to help support himself, and child support took ALL of the income from the second job away. He is literally left with less than 300 a month! To survive on! And to top it all off, to add insult to injury, the mother of his oldest child does not even allow him to see his son! So he goes broke supporting a child he can't even see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Federal law doesn't allow an employer to garnish more than 50% of a person's income. Your cousin needs to talk to his HR/payroll department.

And he might need to see a lawyer about going to court and getting his child support amounts adjusted.
