Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

CPS Custody.

My child was taken from me when I was 18 by CPS. The situation that was then, is not now. Two nights ago, her father who has custody of her, slit his wife's throat in front of the children. How should I go about trying to get her back into my custoday? She is with HIS mother right now, but the mom is trying to bail him out of jail, and she will allow him around her.

Re: CPS Custody.

If your rights were not terminated, then you have the right to petition the court to modify conservatorship. This is a complex matter, and you should retain an attorney to represent you.
