Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Cps

is it a good idea to give temporary guardianship to someone if cps is involved so i, her mother, can get my stuff together? and her father just got out of prison and is threatening to take her away from me. he wont have a chance against the guardian i have in mind. when i get everything together ill call cps and get her back in my guardianship showing that iv done every class and everything together to take care of her. then ill need her back, ive never done anything for them to take her away, and i still need to be able to see her and be apart of her life while shes in this other persons guardianship. what should i do???

Re: Cps

CPS is not your friend. No matter what they say, it's never that simple. You need to go talk to a good family law attorney today, before you make any decisions!
